What exactly are sola wooden flowers?
Sola Wood Flowers, also known as Shola flowers, are made from a plant called sola or shoal. The shoal plant grows in marshy areas of Thailand, and its wood is known as the lightest wood due to its almost white color. Flowers are created from the center of the plant called the “cream”. The cream is a type of bark that is then created into sheets. From the sheets the flowers are cut and all handmade. No machines are used at all – what a craft!
How Do You Clean Sola Wood Flowers?
All of our flowers are treated for softness so that they are touchable and not brittle. They can be cleaned with a soft cloth, hair dryer, or general air can most commonly used to clean a computer keyboard. No solvents or moisture is needed – just a light dusting!
